Claudia Hawkins is the “Claudia” of “Claudia’s Hair and Waxing Consultant,” though she likes to think of her salon as a “team of equal hair experts” rather than her being the boss and her co-workers being employees. Claudia has been doing hair color, styling, waxing, and make-up for almost forty years with “Claudia’s Hair and Waxing Consultant” being the sixth business she has owned through out that time.

She was certified from Marinello Beauty School, has taught at Newberry’s Beauty School, and is currently becoming an educator for Goldwell hair color products. She has an extended client list including working on the lot of Sony studios and has won several awards in both hair and make-up competitions. She loves helping others look their best and looks forward to helping you find your best hair color and style.

Kathy Cote has known and worked with Claudia for over twelve years with “Claudia’s Hair and Waxing Consultant” being the second salon they have worked at together. She graduated from the International School of Cosmetology in 1988 and now has over twenty years of hair styling and coloring experience.

Though she is known as a great hair stylist, she especially loves doing color and is currently becoming a Master Colorist and educator for the Matrix color products. She would love to find out how she can help you with all your hair concerns.

Joyice Dennis has provided customers with her professional services for over twenty-five years.  She is a certified master colorist who enjoys creating and replicating hairstyles fit for queens and kings.  She also specializes in exotic hair styles/cuts, hair weaves, and wigs.

Shawn Covington is a professional hairstylist who specializes in all aspects of hair care.  She believes in maintaining healthy hair at all times.  Shawn has vast experience with hair coloring, hair extensions, and weaves.  She is always excited to create and enhance a more beautiful you.
